Team: invites, roles, 2FA
Invite links, system and custom roles with permissions, account protection.
Invite people
Team members → Invite: an invite link is created. The person opens it, signs in (or registers) — and lands in the project.
A link can be configured with:
- Role on join — the role the newcomer gets (can be “no role”, assigned later);
- Expiry (days) — when the link goes stale (or never);
- Uses — how many people it admits.
Active invites are listed and any can be revoked — the link stops working. The number of operators per project is limited by your plan: a full project tells the invitee honestly.
Roles and permissions
The Roles section ships five system presets: Observer, Trainee, Operator, Supervisor, Administrator. System roles can't be edited — hit Clone to get your own editable copy.
Permissions are grouped checkboxes: Chats (work the inbox, change statuses, take over and reassign tickets), Customers, Content, Team, Analytics, Shopify actions, Automation. Each group has “Select all” / “Clear all”.
A member's role is changed right in the Team members list. The project owner always has full access.
Two-factor authentication
Each member enables 2FA for themselves: Settings → Security. One-time codes come from any TOTP app (Google Authenticator, 1Password, …). We recommend it for everyone with admin permissions.
Practical defaults
- A newcomer gets Trainee — reads and learns without closing other people's tickets.
- One Administrator per project is plenty; others do fine as Operator/Supervisor.
- Who changed what is always visible in the audit log.
