Set up TicketON from scratch: project → channel → first ticket
From sign-up to your first answered conversation — in about 10 minutes.
TicketON collects customer conversations from your website chat, Telegram, email and Shopify into one workspace. This guide walks the shortest path: create a project, connect your first channel, answer your first ticket.
Step 1. Create a project
A project is the workspace of one brand or store: its channels, team, settings and analytics.
- Sign up at app.ticketon.io.
- Click Create project, give it a name and (optionally) a logo.
You can have several projects — say, one per store — and switch between them in one click from the home screen.
Step 2. Connect your first channel
Open Channels inside the project and click Add channel. There are four to choose from:
| Channel | What it is | Pick it first if |
|---|---|---|
| Web widget | Chat on your website | You have a website — 5-minute install |
| Telegram | A bot your customers message | Your audience lives in Telegram |
| Support mailbox → tickets | You do support via help@your-domain | |
| Shopify | Widget + store data in chat | Your store runs on Shopify |
Step-by-step guides: widget on your site, Telegram bot, email on your own domain, Gmail and Shopify store.
Step 3. Invite the team
In Team members, create an invite — a colleague follows the link and lands in the project. Permissions are managed with roles (owner, operator, or a custom role). The number of operators depends on your plan.
Working solo? Skip this step entirely.
Step 4. The first ticket
Message yourself: open the site with the widget installed (or the bot, or send an email) and ask a question as a customer would.
A ticket appears in Chats: the conversation list with filters on the left, the thread in the middle, the customer card on the right. Type a reply and send — the customer gets it in the same channel they wrote from.
Close the ticket with the Close ticket button in the dialog header — the customer is asked whether the issue is solved, and after closing they receive a rating request (if CSAT is enabled).
What's next
- Turn on the AI agent — it answers routine questions itself and hands the hard ones to an operator.
- Add canned replies for frequent questions.
- Take the panel tour — five minutes to know where everything lives.
